About RenoSync and our role
RenoSync is created and operated by Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC. It is a contractor-matching, referral and appointment-scheduling platform. RenoSync connects homeowners, property managers and real estate agents with independent contractors who may be able to help with their projects.
RenoSync does not perform the work, is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a contractor, and does not guarantee any contractor's work, pricing, licensing or insurance. Customers should verify each contractor's license and insurance before hiring. Contractors are independent businesses responsible for their own work, estimates and customer communication.
The full terms below govern use of RenoSync. If you have a question about them, contact us.
Homeowner and customer terms of service
These Terms of Service and Contractor Referral Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of RenoSync, a contractor-matching and scheduling service created and operated by Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC ("Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC," "RenoSync," "we," "us," or "our").
RenoSync is designed to help homeowners and property owners identify contractors who may provide services related to their repair, renovation, maintenance, construction, or improvement needs.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING. BY SELECTING "I AGREE," YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS. YOU MUST ACCEPT THESE TERMS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION OR SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT THROUGH RENOSYNC.
1. RenoSync Is a Contractor-Matching Service
RenoSync is a service intended to assist homeowners and property owners in finding contractors who may be able to perform requested services in their area.
When you describe your project, RenoSync may use artificial intelligence, automated technology, information you provide, and other matching criteria to identify the types of services that may be appropriate for your project.
You may be given the opportunity to add, remove, or modify the services associated with your request before proceeding.
RenoSync may then display contractors based on factors including, but not limited to:
- Services requested;
- Contractor service categories;
- Project location;
- Contractor service area;
- Language preferences;
- Contractor availability or participation in RenoSync; and
- Other relevant matching criteria.
The contractors displayed to you may not represent every contractor available in your geographic area. Filtering based on services, location, language, availability, or other factors may result in certain contractors not appearing in your search results.
2. Artificial Intelligence and Service Recommendations
RenoSync may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to interpret the project description you provide and suggest possible service categories.
These suggestions are provided as a convenience only.
RenoSync does not guarantee that an AI-generated service recommendation is complete, accurate, or appropriate for your project. Certain conditions may require additional trades, specialists, inspections, permits, engineering, environmental testing, or other services that cannot be determined from the information you provide through RenoSync.
You are responsible for reviewing the suggested services and discussing the actual scope of work directly with the contractor you select.
3. Information You Provide
To request or schedule an appointment, you may be asked to provide information including:
- Your name;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Property or service address;
- Project description;
- Services requested;
- Language preference;
- Scheduling information; and
- Other information that you voluntarily provide in connection with your project.
You agree that the information you submit will be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You are responsible for the information, photographs, descriptions, documents, or other materials that you choose to submit through RenoSync.
Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for evaluating or scheduling your project.
4. Sharing Your Information With Contractors
By selecting a contractor and requesting or scheduling an appointment through RenoSync, you authorize Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync to provide the information necessary to process your request to the contractor or contracting business you selected.
This information may include:
- Your name;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Service address;
- Project description;
- Requested services;
- Appointment or scheduling information; and
- Other project-related information you choose to provide.
This information is shared so that the selected contractor can evaluate your request, contact you, communicate regarding your project, and attend or coordinate the requested appointment.
RenoSync and Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC do not sell your personal contact information to contractors or other third parties as a list, lead database, or unrelated marketing product.
Your information and service request are shared with the contractor or contractors you choose in connection with the services you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Once your information has been provided to a contractor at your direction, that contractor may have its own privacy, record-retention, communication, and data-security practices. Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not control a contractor's independent use or protection of information after it has been properly provided to that contractor.
4A. What a Contractor Sees Before and After Accepting
Before a contractor accepts your request, RenoSync shares only what the contractor needs to decide whether to accept it, such as the requested services, your city and ZIP code, your project description, any photographs you provided, and the requested timing. Your name, street address, telephone number, and email address are shared only with a contractor who accepts your request.
If you select a contractor who has not yet set up a RenoSync profile, RenoSync may contact that contractor on your behalf using the business contact information available to RenoSync, sharing the same limited request information described above, to confirm whether the contractor is available.
5. Contractor Selection Is Your Decision
RenoSync provides possible contractor matches to assist you in narrowing your search.
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not require, force, direct, or obligate you to hire or schedule any contractor displayed through RenoSync.
The final decision to:
- Select a contractor;
- Schedule an appointment;
- Request an estimate;
- Allow a contractor onto your property;
- Enter into a contract;
- Authorize work;
- Make payment; or
- Continue or terminate a contractor relationship
is solely your decision.
The appearance of a contractor in RenoSync search results does not constitute an endorsement, certification, warranty, guarantee, or representation by Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC or RenoSync concerning that contractor.
6. Contractors Are Independent Businesses
Contractors appearing through RenoSync are independent businesses or service providers.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, contractors displayed through RenoSync are not employees, agents, partners, representatives, joint venturers, or subcontractors of Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC or RenoSync merely because they appear in RenoSync search results.
Any agreement for inspections, estimates, repairs, construction, renovation, materials, labor, warranties, pricing, payment, project scope, project completion, or other contractor services is between you and the contractor you select.
RenoSync is not a party to that agreement solely because RenoSync facilitated the introduction or appointment.
7. Contractor Licensing, Insurance, Bonding, and Registration
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not guarantee that contractors appearing through RenoSync are licensed, registered, insured, bonded, certified, or otherwise legally qualified to perform your specific project.
Contractor requirements vary depending on:
- State;
- County;
- City;
- Type of work;
- Project value;
- Specialty or trade;
- Permit requirements; and
- Other laws or regulations.
It is your responsibility to independently verify a contractor's qualifications before scheduling work or entering into an agreement.
Where applicable, you should verify:
- Contractor license or registration status;
- Business registration;
- General liability insurance;
- Workers' compensation coverage;
- Bond status;
- Specialty licenses or certifications;
- Complaints or disciplinary history where publicly available;
- Required permits;
- Required inspections; and
- Any other qualifications required by your state or local jurisdiction.
The contractor's business name will be made available as part of the selection or scheduling process so that you can perform this verification.
It is your responsibility to check your state's requirements, because licensing and registration requirements differ from state to state. You should use the appropriate state contractor licensing agency, business registry, or local licensing authority for the state where your project is located.
You should complete this verification before authorizing work or making payment to a contractor.
8. Permits, Inspections, Codes, and Local Requirements
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not determine whether your project requires a building permit, specialty permit, inspection, engineering approval, zoning approval, historical approval, environmental review, or other governmental authorization.
You and the contractor you select are responsible for determining what requirements apply to your project.
Requirements may differ by city, county, state, type of property, and type of work.
You should contact the applicable local building department or regulatory authority when necessary.
9. Contractor Reviews and Ratings
RenoSync may display customer reviews, ratings, or feedback concerning participating contractors.
Reviews and ratings are intended to reflect feedback voluntarily submitted by customers following appointments or interactions with contractors.
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not intentionally alter customer ratings or reviews for the purpose of artificially increasing or decreasing a contractor's rating.
Customer participation in the review process is voluntary. Customers are not required to submit a review or rating after an appointment.
Because feedback is voluntary:
- A contractor may have completed or attended multiple appointments without receiving a review;
- A contractor with no submitted ratings may appear with a rating of 0 out of 5 stars, "Not Yet Rated," or similar designation;
- The number of reviews may not correspond to the number of appointments completed by a contractor; and
- Ratings should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future performance.
RenoSync encourages customers to provide accurate and truthful feedback because customer feedback helps other members of the community make informed decisions.
Reviews represent the opinions and experiences of the customers who submit them and do not necessarily represent the views of Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC or RenoSync.
RenoSync reserves the right to remove content when reasonably necessary to address fraud, spam, unlawful content, threats, personally identifying information, content unrelated to an actual customer experience, or violations of applicable policies or law. RenoSync does not remove or suppress legitimate reviews merely because they are negative.
10. No Guarantee of Contractor Performance
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not guarantee:
- Contractor availability;
- Contractor response times;
- Appointment attendance;
- Pricing;
- Estimates;
- Workmanship;
- Materials;
- Project schedules;
- Completion dates;
- Compliance with contracts;
- Contractor licensing or registration status;
- Insurance or bond coverage;
- Permit compliance;
- Code compliance;
- Warranty performance;
- Property protection; or
- Any particular project outcome.
Contractor information can change over time. A contractor's license, registration, insurance, bond, employees, ownership, service area, qualifications, or legal status may change without notice to RenoSync.
You should independently verify relevant contractor information before proceeding with your project.
11. No Warranty Regarding Search Results
RenoSync attempts in good faith to connect customers with contractors whose listed services and service areas correspond to customer requests.
However, RenoSync does not warrant that:
- Every suggested contractor performs the requested service;
- Every contractor is available;
- Every contractor serves your exact location;
- Every service category identified by RenoSync is correct;
- Search results contain every available contractor;
- A contractor will accept your project; or
- A contractor will successfully complete your project.
Matching results are provided as a starting point for your own evaluation and selection.
12. Your Responsibility for Contractor Selection
By using RenoSync, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for evaluating and selecting any contractor with whom you choose to communicate, schedule, or do business.
You agree to conduct whatever investigation you believe is appropriate before hiring a contractor, including verifying licenses, registration, insurance, bonding, references, credentials, permits, and applicable legal requirements.
You acknowledge that Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync are providing RenoSync as a community resource intended to simplify the process of locating potential contractors and that the ultimate contractor selection remains yours.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC, RenoSync, and their respective owners, members, managers, employees, representatives, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for damages, losses, claims, injuries, property damage, defective workmanship, incomplete work, delays, payment disputes, contractual disputes, permit violations, code violations, licensing issues, insurance issues, bond issues, acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, fraud, or other conduct arising from or relating to a contractor selected or contacted through RenoSync.
You understand that Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not control the independent actions of contractors displayed through the service.
Without limiting the foregoing, Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync are not liable for, and expressly disclaim any responsibility for, damage to your property arising from, occurring during, or otherwise connected to a scheduled appointment, inspection, estimate, or any other service performed by a contractor you selected through RenoSync. Any claim for property damage must be directed to the contractor who performed the work and, where applicable, that contractor's insurance carrier.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that disputes concerning a contractor's work, conduct, price, contract, materials, employees, subcontractors, warranties, damages, or performance must be addressed directly with that contractor or through any governmental, regulatory, insurance, bond, court, arbitration, or other remedy legally available to you.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
14. No Professional Advice
Information provided through RenoSync is for contractor-matching and informational purposes.
RenoSync does not provide legal, engineering, architectural, structural, environmental, insurance, financial, building-code, or other professional advice.
You should consult an appropriately licensed professional when your project requires specialized advice.
15. Communication With Your Selected Contractor
By requesting an appointment or contractor contact through RenoSync, you authorize RenoSync and the contractor you select to communicate with you regarding that service request or appointment using the contact information you provide.
Communications may include appointment confirmations, scheduling communications, requests for additional project information, updates regarding your service request, and post-appointment requests for feedback.
Any separate consent required for promotional or marketing communications will be governed by applicable law and any additional consent language presented to you.
16. Privacy
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync will handle personal information in accordance with the RenoSync Privacy Policy and applicable law.
The Privacy Policy should explain, among other things:
- What information RenoSync collects;
- Why the information is collected;
- How the information is used;
- Which contractors or service providers may receive information;
- How information is protected and retained;
- Applicable consumer privacy rights; and
- How to contact RenoSync regarding privacy questions.
Acceptance of these Terms also acknowledges that information necessary to process your service request will be shared with the contractor or contractors you affirmatively select.
16A. Photographs and Documents Are Kept Only for a Limited Time
RenoSync is not a file storage service. Photographs and documents you upload, such as a scope of work or insurance estimate, are used only to match your request and to share it with the contractors you select.
Photographs and documents are deleted from RenoSync one (1) hour after a contractor accepts your request. If that contractor assigns your request to one of its employees within that hour, they are instead deleted one (1) hour after that employee first opens it. If no contractor accepts, they are deleted twenty-four (24) hours after your request was last sent, which gives you time to send the request to additional contractors. After deletion, your request remains in your account and shows that its photographs and documents were removed; you may choose to add them again, or continue without them, when you send the request to additional contractors.
When you upload an insurance estimate or scope of work, RenoSync reads it to identify the services your project needs. The uploaded file itself is not kept, and pricing contained in it is not shared with contractors.
Keep your own copies of anything you upload. A contractor who accepts your request may save copies of your photographs and documents during the time they are available; that contractor's use and protection of those copies is governed by Section 4 and the contractor's own obligations.
16B. Your RenoSync Account and Request History
You may sign in to RenoSync with a one-time code sent to the email address you used for your requests. Once signed in, you can view the requests sent from that email address and each contractor's response, send a request to additional contractors, and remove a request from your list.
Removing a request from your list does not withdraw information already provided to contractors who accepted it, and RenoSync may keep a record of the request as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law.
Telling RenoSync how you heard about the service is optional.
17. Availability and Modification of RenoSync
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of RenoSync at any time, subject to applicable law.
Features, contractor availability, geographic coverage, matching criteria, service categories, and functionality may change over time.
18. Changes to These Terms
Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC may update these Terms periodically.
When material changes are made, the updated Terms will display a revised effective date. Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided.
Your use of RenoSync is governed by the version of the Terms presented to you at the time you accept them, except as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that the mandatory laws of another jurisdiction apply to you or your transaction.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21. Entire Agreement Regarding RenoSync Use
These Terms, together with the RenoSync Privacy Policy and any additional notices or consents presented to you, constitute the agreement governing your use of RenoSync.
These Terms do not replace or modify any separate written agreement you may later enter into directly with a contractor.
22. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By checking the acceptance box and selecting "I Agree & Continue," you confirm that:
- You have read and understand these Terms;
- You understand that RenoSync is a contractor-matching and scheduling service;
- You understand that Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not guarantee or certify contractors displayed through RenoSync;
- You understand that contractors have not necessarily been independently verified by Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC or RenoSync;
- You understand that you are responsible for verifying contractor licensing, registration, insurance, bonding, permits, certifications, and other qualifications;
- You understand that selecting and scheduling a contractor is your decision;
- You authorize RenoSync to provide your contact information, service address, project description, requested services, and scheduling information to the contractor or contractors you affirmatively select;
- You understand that Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not sell your personal contact information as a contractor lead list or unrelated marketing database;
- You understand that customer reviews and ratings are voluntary and may not represent every customer's experience;
- You understand that RenoSync's AI-generated service suggestions and contractor matches are informational tools and are not guarantees; and
- You agree to these Terms of Service.
You must accept these Terms to continue to the contact-information and appointment-scheduling portion of RenoSync.
Property management, real estate, restoration and business member terms
These RenoSync Business Member Terms ("Terms") govern use of RenoSync by property management companies, real estate agents and brokerages, restoration companies that are looking for contractors, other approved businesses, and their project managers, agents, employees, and representatives ("Members," "you," or "your").
RenoSync is a contractor-matching and connection platform operated by RenoSync LLC ("RenoSync," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, joining a company account, or using RenoSync, you agree to these Terms and to the RenoSync Privacy Policy.
1. What RenoSync Does
RenoSync helps Members find contractors and request to work with them. RenoSync compiles contractor information from contractors and public sources and does not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work.
2. Connections
A connection request asks a contractor whether they are willing to work with you. Connections are personal to each Member: another Member of your company sends their own request. A contractor may approve, decline, or later revoke a connection at any time.
Once a contractor approves, their contact information is shared with you and your name, company, telephone number, and email address are shared with the contractor. You may contact them directly or send them work through RenoSync. Before approval, contractor contact information is not shared.
Contractors who have not yet claimed their RenoSync profile receive an invitation to claim it. They cannot receive work from you through RenoSync until they have claimed their profile and approved your request.
The contractors you save as favorites and the connections you make belong to your own profile. They stay with you if your profile is later merged into a company account.
2A. Work Orders
To find contractors you enter the property address, a description of the work, and, if you choose, photographs and a scope of work. RenoSync uses this information to identify the services needed and to show contractors who provide those services in that area. When you send a work order, RenoSync saves it and sends it to the contractors you select.
Before a contractor accepts your work order, RenoSync shows them only the city and state, the requested services, your description, and your notes. A contractor who has not yet approved working with you receives your connection request first. After a contractor accepts, RenoSync shows them the property address, any price you entered, your name, company, telephone number, and email address, any photographs, and the scope of work for the services they provide. Pricing in an uploaded estimate is never shared.
Contractors may accept, counter, or decline your work order, or ask to inspect the property first. RenoSync does not grant access to any property; if you allow an inspection, you arrange access directly and remain responsible for permission to enter the property.
Each contractor receives your work order separately and does not see which other contractors received it. Messages you send to contractors through RenoSync are sent to each contractor individually.
2B. Photographs and Documents Are Kept Only for a Limited Time
RenoSync is not a file storage service. Photographs and documents are deleted from RenoSync one (1) hour after a contractor accepts the related work order (or, if the contractor assigns it to an employee within that hour, one (1) hour after that employee first opens it), or twenty-four (24) hours after the work order was last sent if no contractor accepts. The work order remains in your account and shows that its files were removed. An uploaded estimate or scope of work file is not kept; only its line items, without pricing, are kept for the same limited time. Keep your own copies.
3. Your Responsibility to Verify Contractors
RenoSync does not verify contractor licensing, bonding, or insurance. You and your company are responsible for verifying each contractor's license, insurance, qualifications, and suitability before hiring them or sending them to a property.
Any agreement for work is between your company (or its client) and the contractor. RenoSync is not a party to that agreement.
4. Profiles, Verification, and Company Accounts
Each Member joins RenoSync with their own independent profile. To enroll you must provide your first and last name, your email address and telephone number, the name, license number, address, and telephone number of the company you work for, and your primary contact number. Real estate agents must also provide their own real estate license number and issuing state; each agent license may be registered to only one RenoSync account. You must provide accurate information and may only enroll on behalf of a company you work for.
Businesses outside property management, real estate, and restoration must also provide their industry and company website, and are reviewed by RenoSync before they can use the service. RenoSync may approve or decline any application and will tell the applicant its decision by email.
A company administrator may later register the company and invite Members to merge their profiles into the company account. A merge happens only if the Member accepts it. After a merge, the company administrator can see the Member's RenoSync activity, including the Member's requests, work orders, connections, and favorites. A Member who leaves a company keeps their own profile and history; the company keeps the work orders sent while the Member was part of it.
You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to your email address. Keep your email account secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
5. Use of Information
Contractor information you receive through RenoSync may only be used to consider and arrange work. It may not be sold, shared outside your company, or used for unrelated marketing.
Do not send RenoSync any information you are not permitted to share, including tenant or owner information beyond what is needed to describe the work.
6. Fees
Finding contractors and sending work orders is currently free for Members. RenoSync will give notice before introducing any fee. A company that chooses to receive leads enrolls separately as a contractor and is subject to the contractor terms and subscription.
7. Disclaimers and Limits
RenoSync is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, RenoSync is not liable for contractor work, conduct, pricing, delays, or disputes, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of RenoSync.
RenoSync may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
Contractor and vendor terms and conditions
This RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Terms and Conditions Agreement ("Agreement") governs participation in RenoSync by contractors, vendors, service providers, businesses, and their respective owners, employees, representatives, subcontractors, and agents ("Contractor," "Vendor," "you," or "your").
RenoSync is created and operated by Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC ("Pacific Roofing," "RenoSync," "we," "us," or "our") as a contractor-matching and appointment-scheduling platform designed to assist homeowners, property owners, tenants, property managers, and other authorized persons ("Customers") in locating Contractors and Vendors who may be able to assist with requested projects or services.
By registering for RenoSync, maintaining a RenoSync profile, accessing the platform, receiving a lead, approving or accepting an appointment, viewing Customer information, or otherwise participating in RenoSync, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Agreement and the RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Privacy and Customer Data Policy.
1. Purpose of RenoSync
RenoSync is a contractor-matching, referral, and appointment-scheduling platform.
RenoSync may match Customers with Contractors/Vendors using factors including:
- Services requested;
- Project description;
- Service category;
- Customer location;
- Contractor service area;
- Customer language preference;
- Contractor language capabilities;
- Contractor availability;
- Contractor profile information;
- Platform activity;
- Customer preferences; and
- Other matching or operational criteria determined by RenoSync.
RenoSync does not guarantee any minimum number of leads, appointments, Customers, estimates, projects, contracts, revenue, or completed jobs.
2. Contractor/Vendor Participation Is Not Guaranteed
Participation in RenoSync is a privilege offered at the discretion of Pacific Roofing and RenoSync and does not create a permanent right to participate in, appear on, or receive leads through RenoSync.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync reserve the right, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to determine which Contractors/Vendors are approved, displayed, promoted, limited, suspended, denied, or removed from RenoSync.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync may approve or deny participation based on legitimate business, operational, safety, quality, customer-service, compliance, geographic, or platform considerations.
3. Contractor Visibility, Promotion, and Service Area Discretion
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync reserve the right to determine where, when, and how a Contractor/Vendor or its services appear within RenoSync.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync may, at their discretion:
- Approve or deny a Contractor/Vendor's participation;
- Suspend, restrict, or remove a Contractor/Vendor;
- Decline to display or promote one or more services offered by a Contractor/Vendor;
- Limit the geographic areas in which a Contractor/Vendor is displayed;
- Decline a request to be promoted within a particular city, ZIP code, county, region, or service territory;
- Restrict a Contractor/Vendor from certain service categories;
- Modify Contractor/Vendor visibility within Customer search or matching results;
- Limit the type or number of appointments made available;
- Prioritize or deprioritize Contractors based on legitimate platform criteria; and
- Modify geographic coverage or service availability as RenoSync determines reasonably appropriate.
A Contractor/Vendor's request to serve a particular geographic area does not guarantee that RenoSync will display or promote that Contractor/Vendor in that area.
RenoSync may determine that a requested service area is too broad, outside a reasonable operating area, inconsistent with the Contractor/Vendor's profile or qualifications, adequately served by other Contractors/Vendors, incompatible with RenoSync's platform objectives, or otherwise unsuitable for promotion.
Nothing in this Agreement guarantees:
- Placement;
- Ranking;
- Search visibility;
- Geographic coverage;
- Lead volume;
- Appointment volume;
- Exclusivity;
- Preferred-provider status; or
- Continued participation.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync are not required to disclose proprietary algorithms, ranking methods, matching criteria, internal platform rules, or confidential business methods except where disclosure is required by law.
4. Appointment and Information Exchange
Before an appointment is accepted, certain identifying information regarding the Customer or Contractor/Vendor may be limited or withheld.
Once a Customer schedules an inspection or appointment and the Contractor/Vendor approves or accepts that appointment, RenoSync may make identifying and contact information available to both parties.
The Customer may then be able to view information concerning the selected Contractor/Vendor, and the Contractor/Vendor may be able to view information concerning the Customer and requested project.
Customer information may include:
- Name;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Property or service address;
- Project description;
- Requested services;
- Preferred language;
- Appointment information;
- Photographs;
- Documents;
- Customer notes; and
- Other information voluntarily submitted through RenoSync.
Contractor/Vendor information displayed to the Customer may include:
- Business name;
- Representative name;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Service categories;
- Service area;
- Language capabilities;
- License or registration information supplied to RenoSync;
- Ratings and reviews; and
- Other relevant business information.
4A. Connections and Work Orders From Property Managers, Real Estate Agents, Restoration Companies, and Other Businesses
A property manager, real estate agent, restoration project manager, or other approved business member ("Member") may ask to work with you. Each request comes from one person; approving one person does not approve anyone else at that person's company. Approving a request is a connection, not a lead. When you approve a connection, your business contact information is shared with that Member, and that Member's contact information is shared with you. You may revoke a connection at any time.
A Member may send you a work order. Before you accept it, RenoSync shows you the city and state, the requested services, the Member's description of the work, and the Member's notes. If you have not yet approved working with that Member, the connection request is sent first and the work order follows only after you approve.
Accepting a work order is a lead. After you accept, RenoSync shows you the property address, any price the Member entered, the Member's contact information, any photographs, and the scope of work for the services you provide, without pricing from any uploaded estimate. You may then accept the work, send a counter offer, or decline. Accepting a work order does not award you the job; the Member decides who receives the work.
You may ask to inspect a property before accepting. RenoSync notifies the Member to contact you. RenoSync does not grant access to any property; access must be arranged directly with the Member or the property owner, and Sections 15 through 18 apply.
Member information, work order details, and property information are Customer information under this Agreement and the Privacy and Customer Data Policy.
5. Acceptance of an Appointment Creates Data Responsibilities
By approving or accepting an appointment, you acknowledge that Customer information may be disclosed to you for the limited purpose of:
- Verifying the lead;
- Contacting the Customer;
- Confirming the appointment;
- Evaluating the project;
- Preparing an estimate;
- Conducting an inspection;
- Performing requested services; or
- Communicating regarding the Customer's project.
Once Customer information has been properly provided to you following an accepted appointment, you are responsible for safeguarding the information while it is within your possession, custody, or control.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync remain responsible for their own handling of information within systems and activities under their control.
However, Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not control your independent handling of Customer information after it has been properly provided to you.
6. Customer Information Is Confidential
All Customer information received through RenoSync must be treated as confidential.
You may not:
- Sell Customer information;
- Rent Customer information;
- Trade Customer information;
- Provide Customer information to a lead broker;
- Transfer Customer information for compensation;
- Upload Customer information to a database for resale;
- Sell Customer phone numbers or email addresses;
- Disclose Customer information to unauthorized third parties;
- Use Customer information for unrelated mass marketing;
- Publish Customer information;
- Post Customer information publicly;
- Use Customer information for fraud or identity theft;
- Harass or threaten a Customer using information obtained through RenoSync; or
- Otherwise misuse Customer information.
Customer information may be used only for legitimate purposes connected with the Customer's service request unless the Customer provides separate, legally valid consent for another use.
7. No Resale or Unauthorized Transfer of Leads
A RenoSync lead is provided for use in connection with the particular Customer request associated with that lead.
You may not resell, redistribute, transfer, sublicense, publish, or commercially exploit a RenoSync lead.
You may provide Customer information to an employee, estimator, salesperson, subcontractor, or other representative only when reasonably necessary to respond to or perform the Customer's requested service.
You remain responsible for ensuring that persons receiving Customer information through your business comply with this Agreement and the RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Privacy and Customer Data Policy.
8. Contractor/Vendor Responsibility for Privacy
You agree to act in good faith and take reasonable measures to protect Customer information from:
- Unauthorized access;
- Unauthorized disclosure;
- Loss;
- Theft;
- Improper copying;
- Misuse;
- Improper sale;
- Improper transfer;
- Accidental disclosure; and
- Other unauthorized use.
You are responsible for the acts and omissions of your owners, employees, salespersons, estimators, subcontractors, independent contractors, agents, and representatives regarding Customer information to the extent provided by applicable law.
9. Privacy Violations and Contractor Liability
If Customer information under your control is sold, intentionally misused, unlawfully disclosed, improperly transferred, or inadequately protected in violation of applicable law or this Agreement, you are responsible for your conduct and the conduct of persons acting under your authority to the extent provided by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC, RenoSync, and their respective owners, members, managers, employees, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, losses, penalties, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from:
- Your unauthorized use of Customer information;
- Your unauthorized sale or transfer of Customer information;
- Your violation of privacy or data-security law;
- Your failure to reasonably safeguard information;
- Your employees', representatives', or subcontractors' misuse of Customer information; or
- Your breach of the RenoSync privacy requirements.
Nothing in this Agreement requires indemnification where prohibited by law.
10. Required Data Security
You agree to maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information you receive.
Reasonable measures should include, where applicable:
- Password-protected accounts and devices;
- Unique login credentials;
- Appropriate access restrictions;
- Device locking;
- Software and security updates;
- Protection against malware;
- Restricting Customer information to authorized personnel;
- Secure disposal of Customer records;
- Avoiding unnecessary downloading or copying of Customer information; and
- Training employees and representatives who handle Customer information.
The FTC recommends limiting employee access to personal information based on legitimate business need and placing security expectations for service providers in written agreements.
11. Data Breach or Security Incident
If you discover or reasonably suspect that Customer information received through RenoSync has been:
- Lost;
- Stolen;
- Hacked;
- Improperly accessed;
- Disclosed without authorization;

- Improperly transferred; or
- Otherwise compromised,
you must promptly notify Pacific Roofing and RenoSync.
You must reasonably cooperate with investigation, mitigation, legally required notifications, and remediation.
You may not intentionally conceal a known security or privacy incident affecting RenoSync Customers.
Washington, for example, imposes notification obligations in connection with certain breaches involving Washington residents' personal information.
12. Leads May Be False, Inaccurate, or Fraudulent
You acknowledge that RenoSync relies on information submitted by Customers and other users.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not guarantee that every lead is genuine, accurate, authorized, complete, or submitted by the lawful owner or authorized occupant of a property.
A lead may contain:
- A false name;
- Incorrect telephone number;
- Incorrect email address;
- Incorrect address;
- Fake project information;
- Fraudulent information;
- An unauthorized appointment request;

- Confirming the address;
- Confirming the requested service;

Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not guarantee Customer identity, property ownership, property-control rights, or the accuracy of information submitted by a Customer.
14. No Liability for False or Unverified Leads
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pacific Roofing and RenoSync are not responsible for losses arising solely from false, inaccurate, canceled, duplicate, unauthorized, or fraudulent leads.
This may include:
- Mileage;
- Fuel;
- Lost time;
- Labor costs;
- Travel expenses;
- Missed opportunities;
- Customer no-shows; or
- Other expenses associated with pursuing a lead.
15. Property Access
A RenoSync appointment does not itself constitute legal permission to enter a home, building, fenced area, locked area, or other private portion of a property.
A property owner, authorized tenant, authorized property manager, or other person legally authorized to grant access must provide permission.
Contractors/Vendors must not:
- Force entry;
- Enter a residence without permission;
- Bypass a locked gate;
- Enter a locked structure without permission;
- Circumvent security devices;
- Enter restricted areas without authorization; or
- Assume that a RenoSync appointment proves property ownership.
16. Customer or Authorized Person Should Be Present
Contractors/Vendors should confirm that a Customer, property owner, authorized tenant, property manager, or other authorized adult will be available to provide necessary property access.
You must not rely solely on the existence of the RenoSync appointment as authorization to enter private property.
17. Verification of Ownership and Permission
RenoSync does not guarantee that a person submitting a request:
- Owns the property;
- Is an authorized tenant;
- Has permission from the owner;
- Is an authorized property manager; or
- Has authority to permit entry.
You assume responsibility for reasonably confirming permission before entering restricted portions of the property or beginning work.
18. Trespass and Unauthorized Entry
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pacific Roofing and RenoSync are not responsible for claims resulting from a Contractor/Vendor's unauthorized entry onto or into property.
You agree to accept responsibility for obtaining appropriate access permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pacific Roofing and RenoSync from third-party claims arising from your trespass, unauthorized entry, or failure to obtain appropriate permission.
19. Independent Businesses
Participating Contractors/Vendors are independent businesses.
Participation in RenoSync does not, by itself, create an:
- Employer-employee relationship;
- Agency relationship;
- Partnership;
- Joint venture;
- Franchise relationship; or
- Exclusive service relationship.
The actual legal relationship between the parties will be determined by applicable law and the actual facts and circumstances.
20. Licensing, Registration, Bonding, and Insurance
You are responsible for maintaining all licenses, registrations, bonds, insurance policies, permits, certifications, and qualifications legally required for the services you offer.

You agree to provide complete and reasonably accurate information regarding your:
- Business identity;
- Contact information;
- Services;
- Service area;
- Licensing or registration;
- Insurance;
- Bonding;
- Certifications;
- Languages offered; and
- Other profile information.
You must promptly update material changes.
You may not knowingly misrepresent your qualifications, licenses, business identity, employees, experience, insurance, services, or geographic coverage.
22. Appointment Responsibility
When you accept an appointment, you assume responsibility for your conduct and the conduct of personnel acting on your behalf.
You are responsible for:
- Verifying the appointment;

- Obtaining permission before entry;
- Respecting Customer property;
- Following safety requirements;

23. Property Damage and Bodily Injury
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not supervise Contractor/Vendor inspections, estimates, employees, subcontractors, vehicles, tools, equipment, or work at the Customer's property.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you accept responsibility for injury, property damage, loss, or other harm resulting from your acts or omissions or those of persons acting under your authority.
This may include:
- Property damage;
- Bodily injury;
- Ladder-related damage;
- Vehicle damage;

24. No Guarantee of Lead Quality or Project Value
RenoSync does not guarantee that:
- A Customer will answer;
- A Customer will attend;
- A project actually exists;
- A Customer will hire you;
- The project description is accurate;
- The Customer owns the property;
- You will receive a particular project value;
- An estimate will be accepted;
- A Customer will make payment; or
- A lead will result in revenue.
Contractors/Vendors assume the normal business risk associated with evaluating potential customers.
25. Estimates, Contracts, Work, and Payments
Unless RenoSync expressly agrees otherwise in writing, any:
- Estimate;
- Proposal;
- Construction contract;
- Work authorization;
- Change order;
- Invoice;
- Payment;
- Deposit;
- Financing agreement;
- Warranty; or
- Other agreement
is solely between the Contractor/Vendor and the Customer.
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync are not parties to those agreements solely because RenoSync facilitated the introduction or appointment.
26. Customer Reviews and Ratings
Customers may voluntarily submit reviews and ratings following appointments.
You acknowledge that:
- Reviews may be positive or negative;
- Customers are not required to submit reviews;
- Review volume may not equal appointment volume;
- Contractors without submitted feedback may appear as unrated or zero-rated; and
- RenoSync does not guarantee any particular rating.
You may not:
- Threaten Customers over reviews;
- Harass Customers regarding reviews;
- Retaliate against Customers for legitimate reviews;
- Purchase reviews conditioned on positive sentiment;
- Submit false Customer reviews; or
- Manipulate RenoSync's review system.
You may report feedback reasonably believed to be fraudulent, abusive, unrelated to an actual interaction, or otherwise inconsistent with RenoSync policies.
27. Good-Faith Conduct
Contractors/Vendors must act professionally and in good faith.
You agree not to:
- Exploit Customers;
- Misrepresent credentials;
- Use deceptive sales practices;
- Discriminate in violation of applicable law;

- Customer support;
- Dispute resolution;
- Contractor accountability;

- Enforcement of this Agreement; and
- Compliance with legal obligations.
29. Contractor/Vendor Suspension, Restriction, or Removal
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync may restrict, suspend, deny, or terminate a Contractor/Vendor's access when reasonably appropriate.
Reasons may include suspected or confirmed:

- Data-security violations;
- Sale of Customer information;
- Fraud;
- Misrepresentation;
- Customer harassment;

- Review manipulation;
- Platform abuse;
- Failure to maintain accurate information;

Pacific Roofing and RenoSync may also elect not to promote or continue promoting a Contractor/Vendor for legitimate business reasons even when no misconduct has occurred.
30. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC, RenoSync, their owners, members, managers, employees, affiliates, representatives, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from or relating to your:

Depending on the business, appropriate coverage may include:
- Commercial general liability insurance;
- Commercial automobile insurance;

35. Severability
If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
36. Entire Agreement Regarding RenoSync Participation
This Agreement, together with the RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Privacy and Customer Data Policy and other applicable platform policies or written agreements, governs Contractor/Vendor participation in RenoSync.

By selecting "I Agree," "Accept Terms," "Approve," or by accepting a RenoSync appointment, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You have read and understand this Agreement;

RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Privacy and Customer Data Policy
This Contractor/Vendor Privacy and Customer Data Policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to all Contractors, Vendors, businesses, owners, employees, agents, subcontractors, representatives, and other persons receiving access to Customer information through RenoSync.
This Privacy Policy forms part of the RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Terms and Conditions Agreement.
1. Purpose
RenoSync provides Contractors/Vendors with limited access to Customer information so they can respond to legitimate Customer service requests.
Customer information must be protected and used only for authorized purposes related to the Customer's request.
Oregon requires covered businesses to maintain reasonable safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of certain personal information.
2. When Customer Information Becomes Available
A Customer may initially submit a project request without all identifying information being visible to participating Contractors/Vendors.
After the Customer requests an appointment and the Contractor/Vendor approves or accepts the appointment, RenoSync may release identifying and contact information to the Customer and Contractor/Vendor.
At that point:
- The Customer may receive identifying and business information concerning the selected Contractor/Vendor; and
- The Contractor/Vendor may receive Customer contact, property, project, and scheduling information.
The Contractor/Vendor assumes responsibility for reasonably safeguarding Customer information while it is within the Contractor/Vendor's possession or control.
3. Customer Information Covered by This Policy
Customer information may include:
- Name;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Property or service address;
- Project description;
- Requested services;
- Preferred language;
- Appointment details;
- Photographs;
- Documents;
- Customer notes; and
- Other information provided in connection with the service request.
4. Permitted Uses
Customer information may be used only as reasonably necessary to:
- Verify the lead;
- Contact the Customer;

- Understand the requested work;
- Determine whether you can provide the requested service;
- Travel to the proper service location;
- Conduct an authorized inspection;
- Prepare an estimate;
- Prepare a proposal;
- Perform requested work;
- Communicate regarding the project;
- Maintain records required by law; and
- Respond to legitimate Customer inquiries.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Sell Customer information;
- Rent Customer information;
- Trade Customer information;
- Provide Customer information to lead brokers;
- Sell Customer phone numbers;
- Sell Customer email addresses;
- Sell Customer addresses;
- Upload Customer information to databases intended for resale;

- Allow unauthorized individuals to access Customer information.
6. No Lead Resale
RenoSync Customer information is provided for the Customer's particular service request and is not a resale product.
You may not accept an appointment for the purpose of reselling, brokering, transferring, or commercially exploiting the Customer's information.
7. Employees, Agents, and Subcontractors
Customer information may be shared internally only with persons who reasonably require it to perform the Customer's requested service.
This may include:
- Employees;
- Estimators;
- Sales representatives;
- Office personnel;
- Subcontractors;
- Agents; or
- Other authorized representatives.
You must ensure those persons understand that RenoSync Customer information is confidential.
The Contractor/Vendor remains responsible for information shared with persons acting under or on behalf of the Contractor/Vendor to the extent provided by applicable law.
8. Minimum Security Practices
Contractors/Vendors must maintain reasonable safeguards appropriate for the Customer information they receive.
Safeguards should include, where appropriate:
- Password-protected devices;
- Secure RenoSync credentials;
- Unique passwords;
- Device screen locks;
- Updated operating systems;
- Antivirus or endpoint security;
- Restricting access based on business need;
- Securing printed Customer records;
- Properly disposing of unnecessary records; and
- Promptly disabling access for personnel who no longer require it.
The FTC recommends limiting access to personal information to personnel with a legitimate business need and requiring service providers to follow written security requirements.
9. RenoSync Account Security
Your RenoSync credentials may only be used by authorized persons.
You must not knowingly give account credentials to unauthorized individuals.
If you believe an account or password has been compromised, you must take reasonable steps to secure the account and promptly notify RenoSync if Customer information may have been exposed.
10. Lost or Stolen Devices
If a phone, computer, tablet, storage device, printed document, or other item containing RenoSync Customer information is lost or stolen, you must take reasonable steps to secure affected accounts and information.
Where Customer information may have been exposed, you must promptly notify RenoSync.
11. Privacy or Security Incidents

- Stolen Customer information;
- Compromised credentials;
- Unauthorized sale;
- Unauthorized transfer;
- Malware affecting Customer records; or
- Any other event reasonably likely to compromise Customer information.
You must reasonably cooperate in investigation, remediation, mitigation, and legally required notifications.
Washington law imposes consumer and, in certain circumstances, Attorney General notification requirements following qualifying breaches.
12. Customer Privacy Requests
If a Customer contacts you regarding access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request relating to information received through RenoSync, you must respond appropriately under applicable law and reasonably cooperate with RenoSync where necessary.
Oregon's Consumer Privacy Act provides qualifying Oregon consumers with rights regarding personal data when the Act applies to the business processing that data.
13. Data Retention
Customer information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, you should securely:
- Delete it;
- Destroy it; or
- Deidentify it where appropriate.
Customer lead information should not be kept indefinitely merely for speculative future marketing use.
14. Marketing Communications
Customer information is initially provided because the Customer requested a specific service.
A RenoSync appointment should not automatically be interpreted as consent to unrelated marketing campaigns.
The Contractor/Vendor is responsible for obtaining any additional consent legally required for promotional emails, telephone calls, text messages, or other marketing communications.
15. Customer Photographs and Documents
Customer photographs, plans, inspection materials, documents, and other project information may contain private or identifying information.
You may not publicly post or use Customer-provided materials in:
- Advertisements;
- Social media;
- Websites;
- Promotional materials;
- Portfolios; or
- Other public content
without appropriate permission when permission is required.
15A. Photographs and Documents Are Available for a Limited Time
RenoSync is not a file storage service. Customer photographs and documents, including any scope of work, remain available to you through RenoSync for one (1) hour after you accept the related request or work order, and are then deleted from RenoSync. If you assign the request or work order to one of your employees within that hour, the hour stops and a new one (1) hour period starts when that employee first opens it; the photographs and documents are deleted when that period ends. Requests that no contractor accepts have their photographs and documents deleted twenty-four (24) hours after the request was last sent.
If you need the photographs or documents, save copies during that time or obtain them directly from the Customer. Any copies you keep are Customer information under this Policy and must be protected, used, and retained only as this Policy allows.
16. Customer Address Confidentiality
A Customer's service address should be made available only to persons who reasonably need it to respond to or perform the requested service.
You must not unnecessarily publish, distribute, or disclose Customer addresses.
17. No Employee or Representative Ownership of Leads
Employees, salespersons, representatives, subcontractors, and agents may not remove or copy RenoSync Customer information for personal use or resale.
Customer information obtained through the Contractor/Vendor must remain within authorized business processes.
18. Lead and Appointment Tracking
RenoSync may maintain records showing:
- Which Contractors were presented to a Customer;
- Which Contractor the Customer selected;
- Which Contractor accepted the appointment;
- Date and time of acceptance;
- Customer selection;
- Contractor account information;
- Appointment status;
- Platform communications where available; and
- Related system activity.
These records may be used for:
- Privacy investigations;
- Complaint handling;
- Fraud prevention;
- Customer support;
- Platform enforcement;
- Data-security investigations;
- Contractor accountability; and
- Legal compliance.
19. Contractor/Vendor Accountability
The Contractor/Vendor that approves or accepts an appointment is responsible for reasonably protecting Customer information made available through that appointment while the information remains in the Contractor/Vendor's possession or control.
If a privacy violation results from the Contractor/Vendor's actions or the actions of persons under its authority, the Contractor/Vendor is responsible for its conduct to the extent provided by applicable law.
20. Pacific Roofing and RenoSync Responsibilities
Pacific Roofing and RenoSync remain responsible for their own collection, use, storage, disclosure, and protection of Customer information where that information remains within systems or activities under their control.
Once Customer information is properly disclosed to a Contractor/Vendor following Customer selection and Contractor/Vendor acceptance, Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not control the Contractor/Vendor's independent handling of that information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pacific Roofing and RenoSync are not responsible for an independent Contractor/Vendor's unauthorized sale, misuse, disclosure, loss, or improper handling of Customer information after proper disclosure.
Nothing in this Policy limits an obligation or responsibility that applicable law does not permit Pacific Roofing or RenoSync to disclaim.
21. Contractor/Vendor Indemnification for Privacy Violations
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Contractor/Vendor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC, RenoSync, their owners, members, managers, employees, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from:
- Unauthorized sale of Customer information;
- Unauthorized disclosure;
- Privacy violations;
- Data-security violations;
- Failure to reasonably safeguard Customer information;
- Unauthorized employee or subcontractor conduct;
- Data breaches caused by the Contractor/Vendor;
- Unlawful use of Customer information; or
- Breach of this Policy.
22. Investigations
RenoSync may investigate suspected misuse of Customer information.
Contractors/Vendors agree to reasonably cooperate with legitimate investigations relating to Customer information received through RenoSync.
This cooperation may include identifying which authorized personnel received access to a particular Customer lead.
23. Violations of This Policy
Violation of this Privacy Policy may result in:
- Warning;
- Restriction of Customer-data access;
- Temporary suspension;
- Removal from particular service areas;
- Removal from certain service categories;
- Reduced or discontinued platform visibility;
- Termination of RenoSync participation;
- Permanent loss of RenoSync access;
- Referral to appropriate legal or regulatory authorities where appropriate; and
- Other contractual or legal remedies.
24. Contractor/Vendor Privacy Certification
By accepting this Privacy Policy, you certify that:
- You understand RenoSync Customer information is confidential;
- You will use Customer information only for authorized purposes;
- You will not sell Customer information;
- You will not improperly transfer Customer information;
- You will maintain reasonable safeguards;
- You will limit access to authorized personnel;
- You will take reasonable steps to protect Customer information stored on your devices or systems;

- You accept responsibility for information received through appointments you approve or accept;
- You will reasonably cooperate with legitimate privacy investigations;
- You will comply with applicable privacy and data-security laws; and
- You accept the RenoSync Contractor/Vendor Privacy and Customer Data Policy.
Acceptance of this Policy is required before a Contractor/Vendor may receive Customer contact information through RenoSync.
Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RenoSync LLC and Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC, which created RenoSync and operate it together ("RenoSync," "we," "us," or "our"), collect, use, share, and keep information when you use RenoSync on our website or in the RenoSync app.
RenoSync connects homeowners and property owners ("Customers"); property management companies, real estate agents and brokerages, restoration companies, and other approved businesses ("Members"); and independent contractors and vendors ("Contractors"). This Policy applies to all of them. It works together with the RenoSync Terms that apply to you.
Effective date: November 4, 2026.
1. Information We Collect
From Customers: name, email address, telephone number, property or service address, ZIP code, project description, requested services, preferred language, appointment preferences, whether the project involves an insurance claim, photographs, and documents you upload such as a scope of work or insurance estimate. Telling us how you heard about RenoSync is optional.
From Members: first and last name, email address, personal telephone number, title, the name, license number, address, and telephone number of the company you work for, your primary contact number, and, for real estate agents, your real estate license number and issuing state. Businesses outside property management, real estate, and restoration also provide their industry and company website. For work orders: the property address, description of the work, services, notes, any price you enter, photographs, and any scope of work.
From Contractors: business name, contact name, telephone number, email address, license, registration, insurance and certification information, services, service area, operating hours, languages, logo, team members you add, and your responses to requests, work orders, and connection requests.
From public sources: business names, license numbers, and business contact details from public contractor license records, used to list contractors who have not yet set up a RenoSync profile.
Automatically: when you accept terms, we record the date and time, IP address, browser information, and the exact version of the document you accepted. We use cookies to keep you signed in and basic analytics to understand how the service is used.
Messages: information you send through Contact now, reviews, and survey answers.
2. How We Use Information
- To identify the services your project needs and show contractors who provide them in your area;
- To send requests, work orders, and connection requests to the contractors you choose, and to send you their responses;
- To verify Members and review businesses before they can use RenoSync;
- To send account sign-in codes, confirmations, reminders, and service messages by email, and by text message when texting is enabled and you have agreed to it;
- To collect and publish reviews as described in the Terms;
- To respond to messages, provide support, prevent fraud and misuse, keep RenoSync secure, and meet legal obligations; and
- To improve RenoSync.
Artificial intelligence: RenoSync uses an outside artificial intelligence provider to read project descriptions, photographs, and uploaded estimates or scopes of work in order to suggest services. The provider processes this information to return results to RenoSync. Pricing in an uploaded estimate is not used and is never shared with contractors.
3. How Information Is Shared
With the contractors you choose. Before a contractor accepts, we share only what they need to decide: the services, the city and ZIP code (or city and state for a work order), the description, any photographs, and timing. After a contractor accepts, we share the name, street address, telephone number, and email address needed to schedule and perform the work, and for a work order, any price entered and the scope of work for that contractor's services. Each contractor receives your request separately and does not see who else received it.
Contractors without a RenoSync profile. If you choose a contractor who has not set up a RenoSync profile, RenoSync may contact that business using its public business contact information, by email, by telephone, or by a text message with a link to claim the request, and share only the limited request details described above. To claim by text, the business confirms the telephone number the text was sent to and gives an email address; the request is released only after the business confirms that email by signing in with a temporary password sent to it. Every text includes a way to opt out (reply STOP).
Connections between Members and Contractors. When a contractor approves a Member's connection request, the contractor's business contact information is shared with that Member and the Member's name, company, telephone number, and email address are shared with the contractor.
Within a company. If a Member accepts an invitation to merge their profile into a company account, the company administrator can see that Member's RenoSync activity, including requests, work orders, connections, and favorites.
Service providers who run RenoSync for us, under agreements that limit their use of the information: website and application hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, text message delivery when enabled, and artificial intelligence processing.
Legal and safety reasons, and business transfers. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of RenoSync, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not provide contact information to anyone as a list, lead database, or marketing product.
4. Photographs and Documents
RenoSync is not a file storage service. Photographs and documents are kept only long enough to match and send your request: they are deleted from RenoSync one (1) hour after a contractor accepts the request or work order (or, if the contractor assigns it to an employee within that hour, one (1) hour after that employee first opens it), or twenty-four (24) hours after it was last sent if no contractor accepts. The request remains in your account and shows that its photographs and documents were removed.
When you upload an estimate or scope of work, the file itself is not kept. RenoSync keeps only its line items, without pricing, for the same limited time. Contractors who accept may save copies during that time; please keep your own copies of anything you upload.
5. How Long We Keep Other Information
We keep account, request, work order, connection, review, and billing records while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, keep accurate business records, and meet legal obligations. Records of terms acceptance are kept as evidence of what was agreed. Removing a request from your list hides it from you; it does not delete information already provided to contractors who accepted it.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask questions about how it is used, by sending a message through Contact now on any RenoSync page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know what we collect, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of certain uses. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be kept where the law requires or allows it.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in the email. Service messages about your requests, account, and work orders are part of the service.
7. Signing In
Contractors sign in with their email address and a password. RenoSync stores only a salted, one-way scrambled form (a hash) of each password, so no one at RenoSync can see it. A RenoSync administrator can reset a contractor’s password to a temporary one, which the contractor must replace at their next sign-in. A contractor signing in for the first time, or who forgot their password, can have a temporary password emailed to them; it works for 60 minutes and must be replaced right after signing in. Homeowners and business members sign in with a one-time code or link sent to their email address (or, when enabled, their telephone). Anyone who can read your email could use these, so keep your email account secure. You stay signed in on a device until you sign out or for up to one year.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, private storage for photographs, and signed links that expire. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.
9. Children
RenoSync is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We update this Policy when our practices change. The updated Policy will show a new effective date on this page, and where required by law we will give additional notice or ask for consent.
11. Contact
Questions or requests about privacy: use Contact now on any RenoSync page, or the Contact Us link at the bottom of the website. Messages go directly to the RenoSync team.
